Painting My Dome And Eye

This as you can tell is my first time with Glazing Putty can't you tell but the results will be great I hope. And now here is my Dome Calvin taped the lines for me and I did the Painting myself, pretty good job I think I've painted stuff many times so I have some experience I still have some touch up work to do but I can't touch it for a week for the Paint to cure. I don't want to mess it up. ; ).............

Covering Inner Sit And Spin

Here is a picture of my sit and spin I am covering it with Poly Styrene to cover most of the sit and spin I'm not done yet. I still have another piece to cut to cover more of the Yellow showing and then I'll Paint it a Dark Gray ; )....... Also I posted a picture of my other helper,Sleeping on the job. Prepping My Dome For Paint

Wow!!! Sanded for 4 hours yesterday so I can start painting my Dome ; ) It was a pain trying to stay in the lines I went out of line a couple of times but Calvin said he can get some stuff to take out the sand marks. I hope the letters don't show too much ; (..... It was major sanding trying to get as much off as I could so it won't show through the paint but, I know some will but thats ok as long as my paint turns out good. I'm going to try and Paint some tomorrow it supposed to warm up tomorrow ; )

Home Made Dome Ring

Here is the Dome Ring Calvin and I made to cover the outer ring on the sit and spin cutting the styrene and then putting the 3 pieces together was the easy part the hard part was, trying to get it to stick to the sit and spin . We did not know the sit and spin was larger than the wood ring so when we went to glue the ring to it, it would just pull off!!! So I gave up Sunday and then when I got home from work Tuesday, TA DA The ring was on ; ) He sanded the sit and spin for over 2 hours HEHEHE SUCKER!!!! I was to do that man saved my arm. I was so Happy I think I'm going to take him to the Outback Steakhouse this weekend. ; )

Jacksonville Meet

Here is a Varsity Jacket Trent is having made that he will be selling it is very nice thick and warm this is a size x-small. Also Carolyn made some R2 chocolate pops they were GOOD!!! Johnaton's wife made Awesome Brownies and rice Crispies treats. Doug and Froghopper showed ; ) also a lot of our other friends showed up. Here is one of our tables we decorated for display with some of my Pictures and Autographs. It was good to meet Jim from Alabama, there was also some more people that Johnaton brought that may start building.
