Outer Skins Mounted

Whoo Hoo!!!! Finally got my Front outer skins mounted today, I used 3M VHB Tape because when I was glueing my Inner skins I noticed that it was melting my skin a little too much. Leaving a couple of bubbles and I didn't like that so I taped them on, oh it took about 4 hours for me to tape everything and then today we put skins on not too bad for a Rookie so if there are any BOO BOO'S I did it!!! LOL. I kind of slid my coin slots in so I could see what it looks like, I also put on some pieces that will be White I just haven't Painted them yet. : )

Glueing On Inner Skins

I am now starting to glue my skins now, it's not too bad. My R3 is starting to take shape now, I can't wait to see it all glued and painted.Still got more glueing on the inners here but almost finished. ; ) more updates to come.

Holo Balls

Calvin found these Hair products on line and they will work perfect for my Holos after I take out the Hair gue LOL. And finally got our Watto mounted and on the wall where he belongs not on the couch!! LOL LOL. :o )

Frame Taking Shape

Here is my Frame I finally did some work this weekend, put some of my Frame together. I drilled all the holes with Calvin's Mill and then discovered I drilled for nothing it started to split the styrene when I tried to use screws to put together so we used Weld On glue worked perfect. :o ) more to come.

More Progress

Here is my Center Foot with the moons on looks pretty good it was easier than I thought Calvin did most of it, we used the Sttel pieces that Jason sent Calvin for his R2 :- ).

Also got my Legs drawed and cut out today, yep they need sanding I haven't sanded anything yet there's always tomorrow. The Legs were a lot easier than I thought I used the Caliper and rulers and Calvins Aluminum horse shoe and it turned out great, more to come :- )

More Progress

Here are some pictures of one of my outer feet and battery boxes not finished with them yet but, making some progress. I still need to sand and glue Boy!!! was that curve on the Foot a pain in the Butt!!! hehe. :- )

Cutting Outer Feet

I'm cutting my outer Feet boy the curves are a challenge, can't wait to see the finished product since I am cutting them and putting them together not Calvin. Hopefully I won't make too many BOO BOO'S.

Also Calvin made my half Moon for my center Foot, looks pretty good just some finish up work on it. :o )
