Inner Dome Parts Painted

Here is some of the inner Dome parts painted, for the Paint I used Rustoleum Metallic finish. Some of the parts i used for the inner was PVC Plumbing Pipe a cap that is from a Flashlight and a piece of thick PVC.

you are on a roll!!! you should add chips from old circuit boards etc. Give it a more electronic look.

Nice!!! A quick question Brenda.I'm painting my plexiglass dome soon and I was wondering. That crome pray paint you're using. Do you think in would work if i used that on the entire dome not including the panels? Would it come close to Calvins shinny aluminum dome?

Hey Thomas, Thanks!!! If I were you I would get a sample piece and sand it with at least a 600 grit sandpaper. And prime it afterwards so the Paint will stick, I'm not sure how it will stick to Plexiglass my Dome is a different plastic. The chrome is very picky what you put it on put thin coats on it about every 10 minutes.
