Mini Megacon 2009

Here are some pics of Mini Mega, We had a blast thanks to all that showed up. I got to talk with Felix ( Twiki ) again and he also posed with our Droids, It was a pretty packed day Saturday I will add some more Pics.

Another Video With Dome On

Here is another video of R3 with her Dome on looks much better, and i am driving her better now practice makes perfect. She will be at borderlands Comics next saturday with the 501st.

It's Alive!!!!!!!

Finally!! R3 is moving what a wonderful feeling!!! Wow I have a lot of practicing to do, it is not very easy controlling her. We carried her down the steps on off she went, I ran her into the curb and got my first weathering on the Center Foot, but I had a lot of fun today running her on the street. I almost tipped her several times turning too fast.

Spacer Painted

Finally got the Silver painted on my spacer on the Horseshoe, I still need to paint the Silver on the inner of the horseshoe.

Here are some pics of my Skirt, I have been working on since Megacon. I finished adding the braces and did glazing putty, and finally it is Painted turned out pretty nice.

Umbrella Corp taking care of calvins R2, and of course R2 tried to run me over so Umbrella was kind enough to lend me a gun, so I took care of R2 myself for teying to run over me and the rest is history.

Here are a few pics of the show one is Jim taking R2 for a walk his is the one with the back door off, it has clear Plexi glass on the back which looks really cool. you can see all the lights and the neat wireing job he did. More Progress

A little more progress done on R3, I glued my pieces in the legs last weekend. And I also Primed my moons at work today on my lunch hour. Then came home and put them on, tomorrow I will paint it when I get home as long as it dosen't rain which it is supposed to ; o (....

Dome Motor Mounted

Yeap you guessed it!!!!Calvin made the video ;o ( good job huh?? just turn your monitor sideways and then you can see it. We got the motor mounted today, YAY!!!! I ran it till the batteries went dead. It was awesome I had a great time, you can see my daughter in the background. LOL she was mad!!!

Legs Mounted

Finally have some more pics of my progress, Were trying to get R3 ready for Megacon. I have my ankles on the legs and feet mounted, I still need to paint the Ankles but I have a little more glazing putty to do so I will paint them when I am done. Also here is me with my R3 and, here is a picture of the bracing for R3's center leg. We cut some PVC blocks that we will mount the leg.
